Skate Academy is a development team dedicated to promoting the sport of Figure Skating by providing training programs and workshops for all skating levels.

Skate Academy offers skaters of all levels a training infrastructure which is ideal to improve their skating skills. On the ice the following aspects are covered - jumps, spins, spirals, edges and footwork. Off the ice classes and workshops include jump training, core flexibility, musical interpretation and ballet.

Skate Academy Mission is:

• To promote, foster and encourage full participation in the growth and development of figure skating
• To encourage and assist amateur figure skating and participation in local, national and international competition
• To educate and inform the public of all aspects of the benefits to be derived from figure skating
• To maintain a team that will provide opportunities for individuals sharing a passion in the sport of figure skating
